Treasure baskets
'My Little Treasure Basket'
Take a peek at yourself and the world through a mirrored shiny ball and feel it's coolness on your fingers, see all the colours in a woolen ball, feel the softness of fur and the bristles of a brush, use a wooden spoon to bang on bowls or 'stir' or 'eat'.
Babies play and explore through touching, licking, seeing, banging things together, sucking, putting things in and taking out, dropping, mouthing, hearing the noises things make. Their are endless ways to explore a Treasure Basket.
Treasure Baskets are used widely in childcare settings, with nannies, in families and in special educational needs settings as they promote the use of babies senses and provide wonderful sensory experiences.
