About me
Hi I'm Katy, mum to two gorgeous little girls.
I have a Certificate in Child Care and Education (cce), Certificate in Peadiatric First Aid, a current CRB (police) check, a Certificate in Infant Massage with IAIM (Iternational Association of Infant Massage) and I am fully insured.
After gaining a wealth of experience working with babies and young children over the past 14 years, both in nurseries and as a nanny, I decided to start Baby Steps to provide fun, sociable and affordable classes for parents/carers and babies in East Surrey and West Sussex. Classes have now been running in venues and family homes since 2007.
Because we know how expensive parenting can be we aim to keep class fees as low cost as possible. Baby Steps is an independant company which means we can keep costs affordable with no joining fee and with many payment options available you can drop into a class, pay in advance to recieve a discount or hold a class in your own home.
I trained as an Infant Massage Instructor with IAIM (International Association of Infant Massage) after experiencing the benefits of massage with my first daughter when she was just 6 weeks old.
I hold Baby Massage courses for babies from newborn until crawling (one to one sessions for babies up to one year), and Baby Activity classes for babies from newborn right up until they are toddlers.
I really enjoy teaching the classes and meeting all of the families. It's lovely to see how the babies grow and progress over the time they attend Baby Steps Classes. Please take a look at some of the testimonials that have been written by parents who have attended/ are still attending classes.
